FAQ
Can I have more than one ticket panel?
Yes. Run /ticket-dashboard and deploy in as many channels as you like. They share one configuration.
What's the difference between channels and threads?
Channels are private text channels inside a Discord category — best for sensitive support and the only type /move works
on. Threads are private threads inside one text channel — best for high-volume, lightweight requests.
Is Ticket Nexus free?
Yes, while it's in beta.
Can I manage it from my browser?
Yes. The web dashboard has the same settings as /ticket-dashboard, plus
ticket history, transcripts, and stats. See Web Dashboard.
Can I use my own bot name and avatar?
Yes, with a White Label license. See White Label.
Can I reopen a ticket after its channel was deleted?
Yes, if you're an Administrator or Elevated Role: /reopen ticket:<number>. It recreates the channel. See
Closing & Reopening.
Where do I find a ticket's number?
It's the part after the last dash in the ticket ID on the closure log — #1364631548644823060-14 is ticket 14.
How do I see how long a ticket was open?
The closure log shows its duration, and /stats global shows averages.
Why can't a staff member use /close?
Instant /close is limited to Administrators and Elevated Roles. Everyone else on staff uses /closerequest, which
requires a reason and a delay. Set Elevated Roles under 🛡️ Staff & Roles.
Can I change the text on the Create Ticket button?
Yes, on the Classic panel. In /ticket-dashboard open 🎨 Panel → 🔘 Edit Create Button and set the label (up to 80
characters) and emoji, then redeploy. The web dashboard has the same fields and
updates the deployed panel straight away. See Ticket Panels.
Can ticket owners add people to their ticket?
Only if Ticket Owners Can Add Members is turned on in the dashboard (off by default). Owners can always use /remove
for others in their ticket.
